Are There Any Restrictions On Where I Can Take The Can-Am Ryker During The Rental Period?
During the rental period, there are no specific terrain restrictions for the Can-Am Ryker. Renters can explore various locations freely, as long as they adhere to the rental duration, insurance coverage, and fuel requirements.
What type of insurance are covered on the can-Am ryker?
Every renter must purchase insurance for $15 (included in price) for basic coverage. Additional coverage are optional and details will be provided in the rental’s agreement and waiver of liability upon booking their rentals.
Do I need to make a security deposit?
There will be a mandatory $500 security deposit for each vehicle on the same day of the activity. The security deposit will be deducted from the available balance on your credit card and might be held by your bank for up to 45 days. After that, it will be automatically released in full unless we charge any damages, traffic violations, or any other necessary charges against it.
Is there a rental reservation deposit, and how does it work?
Yes, for reservation under $500 USD, all charges must be paid in full at the time of booking. If your rental reservation totals more than $500 USD, a minimum deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full on the day of pickup.
What is scenic drive rental’s refund policy for reservation cancellation?
Whether you get a refund for canceling depends on when you cancel.
For reservations of under $500, any cancellation made 7 business day before the pickup date will be eligible for a full refund. Any cancellation made within 7 business day before the pick-up date, a 50% cancellation fee will apply and only a partial refund will be issued.

What happens if I lose my rental ryker key?
If you lose your rental key, expect to pay for its replacement. Lost key fee varies per Ryker model and can be up to $500 USD per key. Replacement fee will be debit from the security deposit plus any other additional charges that may apply.
Are There Any Age Restrictions For Passengers On The Can-Am Ryker?
Passengers on the Can-Am Ryker have age restrictions for safety reasons. All riders must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years old. Safety regulations mandate helmet use for all passengers. Enjoy the ride responsibly!
Can I add additional riders to my rental?
One additional rider is permitted at no additional cost. The minimum age for an additional driver is 21 and a valid driver’s license is required.
What is the policy on late returns?
Pick-up and return time of the rental vehicle is accepted during normal business hours. No refunds for early vehicle returns are granted. A late charge of $25 per hour penalty is assessed if the vehicle is return late from the schedule pick up time.
Is There A Mileage Limit Or Additional Charges For Exceeding A Certain Distance During The Rental?
There is no mileage limit on the Can-Am Ryker rental. Customers can enjoy unlimited distance without worrying about extra charges. This freedom allows for a full exploration of San Diego’s attractions at their own pace.
Is There a Navigation System Available For Use During The Rental?
While the rental does not include a navigation system, riders can utilize their smartphones for directions. This flexibility allows for personal preferences in navigation. It’s recommended to secure a mount for safe use while enjoying the ride.
How fast does a can am ryker go?
Base on our research and experience, the Can-Am Ryker 600cc top speed is about 85-90 mph and for the 900cc model is about 100-105mph under ideal conditions.
What are the pick-Up/Drop off policy?
We offer vehicle delivery and pick-up for individual and groups. Please contact Scenic Drive Rental for a detailed quote. These services carry an additional cost that varies based on number of bikes, locations, or other factors, and are subject to availability.
